You can know the ip address of your network and you can easily login to the network manager page using any web browser.

There are some addresses to login to your wifi service and some of the examples are given below –

  1. 192.168.0.1
  2. 192.168.10.1
  3. 10.0.1.1
  4. 10.0.0.1
  5. 10.0.0.200

My wifi network service provider is Xfinity and I use 10.0.0.1 to login to my wifi network.

You can clearly see the devices connected to your wifi network in the mentioned picture.

Entering your username and password lets you enter into the main menu. Different service providers have different user interfaces and each and every service provider have the option to block the users.

There are two options to block the users.

  1. Using MAC Address
  2. Kicking off the network every time by logging into the network.

Using the MAC Address –

You can block the unauthorized users by blocking their MAC addresses. Once their MAC address is blocked, they will not be able to log in to your wifi network. The device they use will be completely useless to access your wifi. Wifi is also equipped with firewall to block unwanted access.

Kicking off the network every time by logging into the network –

When you login to your wifi network, you will see all the users who are connected to your wifi network. Once you want to block any person or kick him out, you can kick him from your wifi with just by reach of a button.

2. Call your ISP –

In my case, my network or wifi provider is Xfinity and so I can call Xfinity and ask them to temporarily or permanently block the user from accessing my wifi network.
Once you do this, and if you want to give access to him again, you need to call your wifi provider to unblock him again and then he can access to your wifi again.

3. Apps to kick users out of your wifi –

There are many applications for Windows and Android to kick users out of your wifi network.

For example, if you are using any windows operating system, you will need an application like WIFI KILL or NETCUT. Both of the applications has the functionality to block of kick users out of your wifi network.

For example, if you are using an android mobile or system, you will need wifi kill and many other android apps. But these may not be efficient.

For the apps to work efficiently, you must root your android device and enable Super User. This will give everything the administrator rights and bring everything under control.

4. Turn Off your SSID –

SSID is the name of your wifi network. You may have a question of how do we connect to the wifi network if we don’t see it. There is an option called “Connect to a hidden network” and when you click on this, it will ask for the name of your wifi network along with the password.
You can even use this to keep your wifi as a secret without knowing the presence of your wifi network.

5. Hard Reset you Wifi –

The easiest way but not the most effective way is to hard reset your wifi network by accessing the switch present on your router.

Press the button for at least 10 to 15 seconds and you will see the router reset to its default.
