HTML Tutorial Styles –

This tutorial is all about HTML Tutorial Styles. The style for HTML document is included in the tags.

Example<tagname style=”property:value;”>

Both the property and value are CSS values.

HTML Formatting Elements –

<b> – These tags are used when we want the text to be bold.

<strong> – These tags are used when the text we use is important.

<i> – These tags are used when we want the text to be italic.

<em> – These tags are used when we want the text to be emphasized.

<mark> – These tags are used when we want the text to be marked.

<del> – These tags are used when we want the text to be deleted text. There will be small crossing for this text.

<ins> – These tags are used when we want the text to be like inserted text.

<sub> – These tags are used when we want the text to be subscript.

<sup> – These tags are used when we want the text to be superscript.

<small> – These tags are used when we want the text to be small.

<q> – These tags are used when we want the text to be in short quotations.

<blockquote> – These tags are used when we want the text to mentioned as it is taken from another source.

<abbr> – These tags are used for abbreviations.

Example<p> When was <abbr title=”World Health Organization”>WHO</abbr> founded?.<p/>

<address> – These tags are used to denote the address.

<cite> – These tags are used for citing statements.

<bdo> – These tags are used when we want the text to be displayed from left to right or right to left.

Example<bdo dir=”ltr” The text will be displayed from left to right</bdo>

<bdo dir=”rtl” The text will be displayed from right to left</bdo>
